History

Serving New England Since 1967

Alfredo Aiello Italian Foods has been a New England Tradition for well over a half-century. Our hand-crafted Italian foods have helped families celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, and graduations, as well as provide comfort for those in their time of need. But most of all, our customers love having authentic, home-style Italian entrée’s, desserts and specialty items any time of day, without having to do the work. Take a stroll down memory lane and see how Alfredo has grown throughout the years.

1967 — Open for Business

In 1967, Alfredo Aiello Italian Foods Inc. began making pasta items for restaurants, supermarkets, and for sale in our retail store, located in the front of our factory, in the bustling city of Quincy, Massachusetts. Over time Alfredo’s prospered, additions and renovations were made, but soon more space was needed.

1995 — Expansion Begins!

On May 8, 1995 the doors to our new, spacious retail store opened at 8 Franklin Street, in Quincy, allowing Alfredo’s to better serve our customers with expanded products and services.

The move also enabled expanded use of our original factory. Here, we develop, test, and produce our outstanding pasta products. Our facility is run under strict HACCP food safety program, which ensures strict quality control of ALL of our Italian foods.

2001 — Going Digital

AAPasta.com launched in 2001, enabling customers near and far to experience our Italian Foods! Select products can be purchased and shipped to anywhere inside the continental United States. Whether it’s for yourself or if you’re sending our food as a gift, there is no better way to enjoy a meal… Italian style.

2002 — Our Second Retail Location Opens...

On December 9 2002, our second retail store opened in Norwell, MA. Keeping the same formula that made our Quincy location a success, customers can find all of our fresh and frozen pasta items, entree’s, Italian deli, imported pasta, olive oils, specialty items and so much more. The new building offers customers double the space as Alfredo’s Quincy, a cathedral ceiling, four GIANT cases for our products, and plenty of parking.

2010 — Alfredos’ Strikes Again!

Building on the success of our two retail stores — and at the request of many customers — our third retail store opened on March 23, 2010, in Canton, MA. All the great things our clients have come to expect — fresh, great-tasting Pasta, Italian entrée’s, the finest Deli anywhere, fresh bread, Italian desserts, imported specialties, and an incredibly helpful staff — can all be found here.
